Sonia Talamelli has been promoted to Vice-President of Human Resources for EMEA and Canada at NVIDIA, marking a significant step in her nearly thirteen-year journey with the company. This new role, based out of Sophia-Antipolis, France, leverages her extensive experience within the organization and will see her continuing to shape NVIDIA’s HR strategies across these crucial regions.
Talamelli’s career at NVIDIA began in June 2011 as a Senior Manager of Human Resources. She quickly ascended through the ranks, holding positions such as Director and then Sr Director of HR for EMEA, roles she held until her recent promotion. Her leadership has been pivotal in aligning the HR functions with NVIDIA’s rapid growth and technological advancements in these regions.
Before her tenure at NVIDIA, Talamelli served as Vice President of Human Resources at Icera Semiconductor Inc for over a year, where she was integral in strategic HR planning and implementation. Prior to that, she managed HR operations at AMCC Corp. and served as HR Director at Criston Software, overseeing significant human resources initiatives that facilitated corporate restructuring and growth.
Her career began at Banque de Luxembourg, where she spent a decade honing her skills in various HR capacities, setting the foundation for her later successes in the technology sector.
