Based in Mumbai, Shagufta will lead global procurement across Aroma & Personal Care, driving excellence in strategic sourcing, supplier development, and large-scale transformation initiatives. Her appointment reflects Eternis’ commitment to building robust supply chains and enhancing operational efficiency as it scales its global business.
With over 20 years of experience, Shagufta brings deep expertise in procurement strategy, supply chain management, and transformation programs, having worked with leading multinational organizations across industries.
Prior to joining Eternis, Shagufta served as Senior Procurement Manager – Personal Care, South Asia at Unilever, where she led end-to-end procurement strategy, aligning sourcing initiatives with business priorities to drive margin improvement, cost optimization, and competitive advantage. She also played a pivotal role in building market intelligence capabilities, driving sustainability initiatives, and strengthening supplier ecosystems for innovation and speed-to-market.
Earlier, she worked with PepsiCo as Productivity Lead – South Asia, where she led large-scale cost optimization and continuous improvement programs, driving measurable savings and operational efficiencies through cross-functional collaboration.
Her tenure at IKEA saw her leading product development and supply chain operations across South Asia, where she scaled business volumes significantly, built new supplier ecosystems, and drove sustainability-focused initiatives such as recycled textiles and circular value chains.
Shagufta also held key roles at BP (Castrol), Unilever (earlier tenure), and DuPont, where she built strong expertise in global sourcing, supply chain transformation, and process optimization, managing large procurement spends across geographies and categories.
Her career reflects a consistent track record of delivering value through strategic procurement, building resilient supply chains, and driving innovation-led transformation at scale.
