Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, May 2026 — Yagnesh Parikh has been appointed as Group Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at PL Capital Group (Prabhudas Lilladher), bringing more than four decades of experience across financial technology, capital markets infrastructure, digital brokerage platforms, banking systems, and enterprise technology transformation.
In his new role, Yagnesh will lead the group’s technology strategy, digital transformation initiatives, and next-generation trading infrastructure development. He will focus on modernising broking and asset management platforms, strengthening algorithmic trading capabilities, and enhancing high-performance technology infrastructure to support the company’s long-term growth and innovation agenda.
Prior to joining PL Capital Group, Yagnesh served as Chief Information Technology Officer at TRUST, where he led enterprise technology initiatives and digital infrastructure transformation.
Earlier, he held leadership roles as Group CTO at AK Capital Services Ltd and Chief Technology Officer at IndiaBonds, contributing to digital financial services and investment technology platforms.
Yagnesh is widely recognized for his nearly 15-year tenure with ICICI Securities, where he held several senior leadership positions including Chief Technology and Digital Officer (CTDO) and Senior Vice President – IT. During this period, he played a major role in driving the digital transformation of the broking business, developing scalable online trading systems, and aligning technology strategy with evolving capital market requirements.
Before this, he served as CTO at Reliance Securities, leading e-broking technology initiatives and trading infrastructure deployment.
Earlier in his career, Yagnesh worked with ICICI Securities Ltd as CTO – Online Trading, helping build robust high-performance online investment and trading platforms. He also worked with 3i Infotech, supporting internet banking, payment gateway, mobile banking, and online trading technology initiatives for ICICI Bank.
He spent nearly eight years with ICICI Bank, where he contributed to software development, banking automation systems, customer information systems, cash management solutions, and major Y2K technology transition programs.
Yagnesh began his professional journey with State Bank of India, where he spent more than 12 years working on banking systems and technology operations.
Widely regarded across the fintech and capital markets ecosystem, Yagnesh brings deep expertise in digital brokerage platforms, regulatory systems, secure transaction processing, financial infrastructure modernization, and scalable trading technologies.
