Los Angeles, California, United States, May 2026 — Katie Higgins has started the position of Chief Financial Officer at Air Transport Components Group (ATC), bringing extensive leadership experience across aviation finance, MRO operations, aerospace services, and business transformation. In her new role, she will oversee the company’s financial strategy, operational planning, and business growth initiatives as ATC continues strengthening its position within the aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul sector.
Prior to joining Air Transport Components Group, Katie served with Western Jet Aviation, where she held leadership positions including Vice President / General Manager and earlier Chief Financial Officer. During her tenure, she contributed to operational management, financial oversight, and business performance initiatives across the aviation services business. She also held leadership responsibilities with StandardAero as Vice President / General Manager, further expanding her expertise across aerospace maintenance and aviation operations.
Earlier in her career, Katie worked as Chief Financial Officer at Hawker Pacific Aerospace, where she managed finance and operational support functions for the aviation MRO business. She also spent more than four years with Lufthansa Technik AG, holding roles across finance, controlling, project management, and production design material solutions in both Germany and the United States. Her earlier experience includes roles with Bizjet International, Lufthansa Technik, Hillstone Restaurant Group, and Teamworks & Associates, building a strong foundation across finance, operations, and organizational leadership.
With deep expertise spanning aviation finance, MRO operations, strategic planning, and organizational management, Katie Higgins is expected to play a key role in supporting Air Transport Components Group’s continued operational excellence, customer-focused service delivery, and long-term business expansion strategy.
