Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2026 — Indore Composite Pvt. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of advanced composite materials and cable protection solutions, has appointed Kunal Asar as Head – Human Resources. In his new role, he will lead the company’s people strategy, talent agenda, leadership development, organizational culture, and HR transformation initiatives as Indore Composite accelerates its next phase of business growth.

Before joining Indore Composite, Asar spent nearly four years with Galaxy Surfactants Limited, most recently serving as Senior Manager – People Energy (Human Resources). In this role, he led HR for multiple manufacturing locations and five operational facilities, driving employee relations, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, people budgeting, business partnering, and strategic HR initiatives that supported the company’s operational and business growth.
Earlier, Asar spent almost five years with Novonesis (formerly Novozymes), where he held the positions of Partner – People and Organization (Human Resources) and Specialist – People and Organization (Human Resources). As the HR Business Partner for Operations, Supply and Quality, he supported business expansion, acquisitions, cultural integration, operational excellence, community development, and strategic HR service delivery. He also served as the Site HR Lead for establishing a greenfield industrial enzymes manufacturing facility in Mumbai.
Prior to Novonesis, he spent more than four years with Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd., progressing through several HR leadership roles including Associate Manager HR & IR, Associate Manager, and Deputy Manager Human Resources. During this period, he managed manufacturing HR operations, industrial relations, union management, talent acquisition, capability development, HR strategy execution, statutory compliance, organizational development, and supported the establishment of a new R&D facility.
Earlier in his career, Asar worked with Cosmo Films, where he played a key role in implementing enterprise HR technology platforms, redesigning employee lifecycle processes, performance management, compensation structures, and employee self-service systems. He began his HR career with Shell Transource – Calibehr, where he contributed to building HR systems, recruitment processes, organizational policies, and people practices for a rapidly growing business.
With over 17 years of experience across manufacturing, specialty chemicals, biotechnology, industrial products, and engineering organizations, Kunal Asar brings deep expertise in strategic HR, HR business partnering, industrial relations, organizational development, talent management, culture transformation, employee engagement, leadership development, and operational excellence.
