In his expanded leadership role, he will oversee investment and trading strategy across the Middle East and North Africa, driving commercial partnerships, media investment excellence, and data-driven trading capabilities across the region’s rapidly evolving advertising landscape.
Abdallah has been part of WPP Media since October 2023, initially serving as Head of Trading, MENA, where he led regional trading operations, strengthened strategic partnerships with media owners, optimized commercial negotiations, and enhanced investment performance across the group’s media agencies. His promotion recognizes his contribution to building a more integrated, technology-enabled trading ecosystem across the region.
Before joining WPP Media, Abdallah built an impressive nine-year career with Publicis Media, progressing through multiple regional leadership positions within PMX MENA. He served as Head of Trading, Regional Trading Director, Regional Trading Associate Director, Senior Regional Trading Manager, and Regional Trading Manager, leading media investment, commercial negotiations, trading strategy, and cross-market partnerships across the Middle East and North Africa. During this period, he developed extensive expertise in optimizing media buying, strengthening publisher relationships, maximizing client value, and delivering commercial growth through strategic investment planning.
He began his professional career with Bank Audi, where he worked as a Retail Bank Teller after completing an internship with the bank, building a strong foundation in financial services before transitioning into the media and advertising industry.
