Dallas, Texas, United States, September 2024 – Aasiya Shaikh has taken on a new role as Chief People Officer at HigherVets, an organization dedicated to empowering veterans in the business aviation industry. Aasiya will spearhead the human resources strategy and talent development initiatives as the company works toward its mission of placing 10,000 veterans in the aviation industry.
Prior to joining HigherVets, Aasiya served as President & CEO of Flight Crew International for over 15 years, where she led the company to become one of the top global providers of aviation personnel and HR solutions for airlines worldwide.
Earlier in her career, Aasiya worked as an Equity Research Associate at Fidelity Investments for 3 years, providing crucial investment recommendations for diversified portfolios.
