Columbia, South Carolina, United States, September 2024 – Kelley Mudgett has been appointed as the Chief People Officer at NearU, a leading provider of residential and light commercial HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and generator services. In this role, Kelley will lead all facets of human resources, overseeing talent management, employee relations, recruitment, and leadership development as the company continues its aggressive growth strategy.
Prior to joining NearU, Kelley served as the Chief People Officer at Vantedge Medical for 1.5 years, where she successfully integrated HR strategies and led the organization through a period of significant growth and transformation.
Kelley’s previous experience includes a 10+ year tenure at Culligan International, where she held various leadership roles, including Vice President, North America Human Resources. During her time at Culligan, Kelley led the HR integration across ten acquired companies and developed a comprehensive HR playbook to standardize programs and practices across business units.
Earlier in her career, Kelley served as Regional Manager of Human Resources at TJX Companies, Inc. and as Regional Director of Human Resources at Circuit City, where she played a key role in managing HR functions across multiple regions.
