Malawi, August 2026 — Britam Insurance Malawi has appointed Ulemu Mvula-Luhanga as Country Sales Manager, marking a new leadership milestone in her long-standing career with the insurance company. The appointment follows more than 18 years of experience with Britam, where she has built extensive expertise in sales and the insurance business.
Mvula-Luhanga has been associated with Britam Insurance Company Ltd since May 2008, serving as Sales Manager. Her long tenure with the organization has provided her with substantial experience in sales management, customer engagement and the Malawian insurance market.
Over the course of her career at Britam, she has developed an in-depth understanding of the company’s business and sales environment. Her progression to Country Sales Manager represents an expansion of her leadership responsibilities within an organization where she has spent nearly two decades.
In her new position, Mvula-Luhanga will take on the country sales leadership mandate for Britam Insurance Malawi. Her extensive institutional experience and sales background provide a strong foundation as she moves into the expanded role.
