Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, November 2025 — Edme Insurance Brokers has appointed Abhinab Pradhan as the new Vice President – Corporate Business, strengthening its leadership capability as the organisation continues to expand its presence and client portfolio across India. In his new role, he will contribute to deepening corporate engagements, driving strategic business growth, and strengthening Edme’s position as a trusted insurance advisory partner for enterprises.
Abhinab brings a strong track record in corporate insurance, joining Edme after more than seven years with HDFC ERGO General Insurance. He most recently served as Assistant Vice President, leading corporate business in Bengaluru and contributing significantly to portfolio growth, client servicing, and strategic account development. Prior to this, as Senior Manager – Corporate Business Group, he managed key corporate relationships and drove business acquisition across multiple insurance lines including property, health, and specialty products.
Before his tenure at HDFC ERGO, Abhinab spent over three years with Cholamandalam MS General Insurance Co. Ltd., where he served as Manager – Commercial for Karnataka. In this role, he managed commercial lines, expanded channel partnerships, and strengthened business performance through risk-aligned solutioning. His earlier experience at Bharti AXA General Insurance Co. Ltd. as Area Manager – Commercial Lines enabled him to build deep expertise in working with large corporate clients and broking channels in the Bengaluru market.
Abhinab began his career with a formative six-year journey at IFFCO TOKIO Insurance Services Ltd., where he worked across roles including Business Development Manager and Agency Development Manager – Commercial. During this period, he built strong foundational expertise in property, aviation, and health insurance segments, managed broker relationships, delivered client servicing excellence, and supported channel profitability. He also began his early professional grounding as a Marketing Trainee at IFFCO TOKIO General Insurance Ltd., strengthening his understanding of commercial insurance dynamics.
