Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, March 2025 – Ahmed Embaby has been named Chief People Officer at IMI, bringing over two decades of leadership experience in human resources, talent strategy, and organizational transformation. In his new role, he will be responsible for driving people and culture initiatives, talent acquisition, leadership development, and HR transformation to align with IMI’s vision as a global media powerhouse. With a strong background in HR project management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic leadership, Embaby is expected to play a pivotal role in enhancing IMI’s workplace culture and employer brand.
Prior to joining IMI, Ahmed Embaby held a distinguished 11-year tenure at Oracle, where he served as Regional HR Senior Director for MEA & Turkey. In this role, he spearheaded talent strategy, HR transformation, and leadership development programs across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices. His expertise in building high-performing teams and fostering leadership excellence was instrumental in Oracle’s regional growth and expansion.
Before Oracle, Embaby served as Head of Corporate Services at AMS Baeshen & Co., overseeing HR, public relations, and administration functions. His leadership contributed to organizational efficiency, workforce engagement, and policy enhancements, strengthening the company’s overall HR framework.
His earlier career includes a remarkable 12-year tenure at Pfizer, where he rose through progressive HR leadership roles, including HR Director for Saudi Arabia & Gulf Countries and Talent & Organization Capability Lead for Africa & the Middle East. He played a crucial role in workforce planning, talent management, and employee relations, driving HR excellence across the pharmaceutical industry.
Embaby also held key HR positions at PepsiCo and ProMark, as well as consulting roles at Arthur Andersen & Co., where he gained expertise in operational consulting and business strategy. His diverse industry experience across technology, pharmaceuticals, media, and consulting makes him exceptionally well-equipped to lead IMI’s people strategy and organizational development efforts.
