New Delhi, India, May 2025 — Ajay Dhiman has joined OPG Mobility (formerly known as Okaya EV) as President – Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer, taking charge of the company’s growing electric vehicle and EV components business. In this pivotal dual role, Dhiman will oversee all core business and technical functions, including operations, R&D, product development, supply chain management, manufacturing, and strategic sourcing.

A seasoned automotive industry leader, Dhiman brings more than two decades of experience spanning the entire mobility spectrum—2-wheelers, 3-wheelers, and 4-wheelers. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President at Revolt Motors, where he successfully led operations, R&D, sourcing, and supply chain for one of India’s leading electric motorcycle brands. There, he played a crucial role in establishing two manufacturing plants, launching four electric motorcycle models in a year, and developing a robust supplier ecosystem.

Prior to that, Dhiman held senior leadership roles at Confidential (EV business of a Group) where he led new plant setup, product development and operations transformation. His extensive career also includes impactful tenures at industry stalwarts such as Honda Cars India, where he managed manufacturing operations and new product development, and Renault Nissan, where he spearheaded greenfield plant projects and model implementations. Further, his journey spans renowned companies like Sonalika Group, Subros Limited, and advisory roles across multiple automotive and EV ventures globally.

Armed with a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and dual MBAs in Marketing and Operations, Dhiman’s well-rounded expertise has contributed to new product strategy, lean manufacturing, business transformation and technology implementation across his past roles. His hands-on leadership in setting up new plants, streamlining supply chains, driving innovation, and scaling up production capacities makes him ideally suited for OPG Mobility’s ambitious growth roadmap.

As OPG Mobility aims to redefine electric mobility in India through innovative electric 2-wheelers and 3-wheelers, Dhiman’s appointment comes at a critical juncture. He will work closely with the leadership team to scale operations, introduce cutting-edge products, and align the organization’s technology and manufacturing vision with India’s rapidly evolving EV landscape.
