Charlottesville, Virginia, United States, December 2025 – Alan Susi has taken on a new position as Vice President, Global Head of Workforce Planning & Future of Work at S&P Global. In this strategic leadership role, Alan is responsible for leading the organization’s global workforce planning, people analytics, skills COE, organizational effectiveness, and talent marketplace capabilities. His work is central to shaping the future of work and aligning human capital strategies with S&P Global’s broader business transformation agenda.
Alan has been with S&P Global for over five years, steadily progressing through senior leadership roles. Prior to his latest appointment, he served as VP, Global Head of Organizational Planning & Analytics, where he integrated workforce planning, reporting, and data to build a new organizational guidance ecosystem. Before that, as Global Head of Organizational Effectiveness, he focused on operational excellence, culture transformation, and talent strategy.
Earlier, Alan held the position of Director, Head of People Planning, where he spearheaded enterprise-wide people program enablement and supported agile workforce planning to drive long-term business goals. Prior to this, he served as Director, People (Global HR Lead) for the Market Intelligence division, playing a key role in M&A integrations and organization design efforts.
Before joining S&P Global, Alan was Head of Organizational Effectiveness at CFA Institute, where he implemented talent growth ecosystems and strategic HR capabilities. His prior leadership experience also includes nearly a decade at Fannie Mae, where he held several leadership roles including Director of Human Capital Planning and Interim Head of HR for the Chief Operating Office.
