Washington, District of Columbia, United States, November 2025 — GridUnity has announced the appointment of Alexina Jackson as its new Strategic Product Officer (SPO), marking a significant step forward in the company’s mission to transform the energy landscape through innovation, technology, and collaboration. In her new role, Alexina will lead GridUnity’s product strategy and development, aligning innovation with regulatory and market needs to advance grid modernization and energy transition initiatives.
For more than a decade, GridUnity has been at the forefront of accelerating grid interconnection and planning through digital transformation. Recognized by the U.S. Department of Energy with a $49.5 million GRIP grant, the company continues to drive industry-wide collaboration and scalability. Alexina brings over two decades of experience bridging innovation, law, and technology. She most recently served as Vice President – Strategic Development at The AES Corporation, where she guided digital transformation initiatives, championed AI-driven energy solutions, and fostered collaborative ecosystems that redefined energy delivery and management. Earlier, she held key leadership roles as Customer Innovation & Solutions Lead, Managing Director & Associate General Counsel, and Director – Ethics & Compliance at AES, demonstrating an exceptional ability to align strategic vision with operational execution.
Before her tenure at AES, Alexina built a distinguished career in law and strategy, serving as an Associate at Crowell & Moring LLP and a Strategy Consultant at Monitor Group. She also currently leads Seven Green Strategy, a consultancy dedicated to advancing clean energy, innovation, and policy advisory, and serves as Senior Advisor at Clarum Advisors, contributing her expertise to cleantech investment strategies and grid transformation initiatives.
