Long Beach, California, United States, March 2025 – Alfonso Vides has joined True Anomaly as Director of People Operations, where he will lead strategic HR initiatives and operational excellence to support the company’s mission of safeguarding global security through advanced space technologies.
Prior to this role, Alfonso served as Human Resources Director at ABL Space Systems, where he led a cross-functional team and implemented key initiatives such as HRIS transitions, compensation and equity frameworks, and DEIB programs. His leadership was instrumental in driving compliance and optimizing employee experience across the organization.
Before ABL, Alfonso worked as a Sr. People Partner at Dave, where he supported the Engineering, Product, and Design functions. His scope included IPO readiness, equity and compensation planning, and complex employee relations management.

Previously, Alfonso served as Lead HRBP at BCG Digital Ventures, where he led HR for North America Engineering & Operations and played a key role in performance management and organizational planning. He also held a pivotal role as HR Business Partner at Bird, supporting global growth efforts and talent strategy across multiple geographies.
Earlier in his career, Alfonso held progressive HR leadership positions at Tesla, Amazon, and Target, gaining valuable experience in organizational design, performance management, compliance, and high-volume hiring during periods of rapid expansion.
