Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, October 2025 — Ali Sajwani has been appointed as Chief Human Capital Officer at Invest Bank, one of the UAE’s leading financial institutions. In his new role, Ali will oversee the bank’s human capital strategy, focusing on talent development, culture transformation, and aligning people capabilities with Invest Bank’s strategic growth and customer excellence objectives.
Before joining Invest Bank, Ali spent over sixteen years with Citi, where he held multiple leadership roles, including SVP Head of Outsourcing & Government Affairs and UAE Head of Human Resources. His tenure at Citi was marked by his leadership in driving strategic workforce planning, talent engagement, and government relations across a dynamic and rapidly evolving financial ecosystem. He played a key role in strengthening the organization’s HR governance and enhancing collaboration between business and regulatory entities across the UAE.
Prior to Citi, Ali served for a decade at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) as Branch Manager, where he demonstrated strong operational and leadership capabilities, managing large teams and delivering exceptional customer experiences. He began his career with ABN AMRO Bank N.V. as a Customer Service Officer, gaining valuable early experience in financial operations and client relationship management.
Ali holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources and Business Law from The University of Toledo, where he built the foundation for his strategic HR leadership journey.
