Allan Freed Appointed as Group Head of Human Resources at MCB Group

Allan Freed has been announced as the new Group Head of Human Resources at MCB Group, based in Port Louis, Mauritius. Freed’s tenure began in March 2024, marking a pivotal moment for the company as it continues to bolster its leadership team.

Before stepping into his current role, Freed served as the Head of Culture & Leadership within MCB Group itself for 1 year and 7 months, showcasing his internal growth and deep understanding of the company’s ethos and values. His prior experience also includes an extensive 15-year period at The RBL Group as a Principal Consultant, where he focused on executive development and management consulting. Freed’s work at The RBL Group involved assisting organizations in solving performance issues, enhancing leadership quality, and building strategic HR capabilities.

Further back in his career, Freed held the position of General Manager for Australia and New Zealand at Melaleuca Inc., where his responsibilities spanned across various domains including sales, marketing, human resources, operations, finance, and more.
