Austin, Texas, United States, December 2025 – Alyssa Lahar has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Quest Software, marking a significant next chapter in her long HR leadership journey across global technology and enterprise companies. At Quest Software, Alyssa Lahar now serves as Chief Human Resources Officer, bringing to the role her extensive experience in scaling people, culture and leadership agendas in high-growth and transformation-focused organizations. In this capacity, she will partner closely with the executive team to support Quest’s mission of helping organizations build modern, trusted foundations for AI through strong people, culture and capability foundations.
Prior to joining Quest, Alyssa Lahar was Chief People Officer at Own Company, a role she held for close to three years until the organization was acquired by Salesforce. As CPO, she led the people function through phases of high growth and strategic transition, experience that will be invaluable as she now supports Quest in its own next stage of evolution.
Before that, she served as CHRO at ZoomInfo in Waltham, Massachusetts, spending nearly three years with the company. In this role, she was part of the leadership team of a rapidly scaling go-to-market and data intelligence business, strengthening her exposure to high-growth tech environments and the people and culture demands that accompany that scale.
Earlier, Alyssa Lahar built a nearly two-decade career with Dell EMC / Dell Technologies in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, where she held various Human Resources positions, progressing through leadership roles including Senior Director Human Resources, Global Sales & Presales, Senior Director Human Resources, Global Engineering, and ultimately Vice President Human Resources. This long tenure gave her deep experience in supporting complex, global, matrixed organizations and leading HR for business-critical functions across geographies.
