Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, July 2025 – Amanda Adams has taken on a new role as Chief People Officer at Parks Victoria, the statutory authority responsible for managing Victoria’s world-renowned parks, reserves, and marine estates. In this position, Amanda will lead the organization’s people strategy, with a focus on workforce planning, capability development, cultural leadership, and enabling Parks Victoria’s mission of delivering healthy parks for healthy people.
Amanda brings over two decades of diverse and impactful HR leadership experience across the public and private sectors. Before joining Parks Victoria, she served as Chief People Officer at the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine (VIFM), where she led the people function in a highly complex, mission-critical environment. Prior to VIFM, she was Head of People Culture and Enablement at Home Trades Hub Australia, where she helped embed cultural foundations and operational alignment during a period of organizational scale-up.
Earlier, Amanda held roles as HR Director at the Victorian Auditor-General’s Office and Director of People at Team Global Express, where she led large-scale HRIS implementations and established shared services capabilities. At Strait Link, she managed the HR separation from the Toll Group and successfully established an independent people function for the organization.
Amanda’s career also includes senior HR leadership roles at Toll Group, Randstad, Broadspectrum, Grocon, and Regal Beloit, where she built expertise in talent strategy, HR transformation, culture change, and organizational development across logistics, infrastructure, government, and industrial sectors.
