North America, February 2026 – Marlene Lesko has been promoted to Head of Talent, North America at Airbus, where she will lead the North America Center of Excellence for Talent (‘Develop’), overseeing talent acquisition, workforce development, onboarding, technical and leadership development, talent management, culture, and DEI initiatives across the region.
In her expanded role at Airbus, Marlene is responsible for developing and implementing the North America Talent strategy in alignment with the Airbus Group ‘Develop’ strategy, ensuring the organization’s talent agenda directly supports evolving business needs across the region. She previously served as Head of Talent Acquisition North America, where she played a key role in strengthening recruitment capability and aligning talent pipelines with strategic growth priorities.
Prior to joining Airbus, Marlene spent nearly four years as Director, Talent Management at FlightSafety International, where she led corporate recruiting and talent initiatives, enhancing leadership capability and workforce planning.
Before that, she held multiple senior leadership roles at Battelle over more than six years, including Director Talent Acquisition, Director, Human Resources, and Manager, Talent Acquisition. During her tenure, she led university relations, onboarding strategy, executive recruiting, and talent development initiatives while managing large-scale talent acquisition operations supporting thousands of employees.
Earlier in her career, Marlene built strong expertise in recruitment and talent strategy at Fifth Third Bank, where she served in progressive roles including Assistant Vice President, Talent Acquisition Team Lead and Assistant Vice President, Regional Talent Acquisition Specialist, overseeing multi-state recruitment strategies and leading high-performing recruiter teams.
