Kalamazoo, Michigan, United States, August 2024 – Amanda LaCava O’Donnell has stepped into the role of Director, Human Resources at Stryker, where she will strategically partner with the Innovation Excellence group and the Hips Business Unit in the Joint Replacement division. With over 13 years of experience at Stryker, Amanda brings a wealth of expertise in HR leadership to her new role, where she will continue to drive impactful HR strategies that align with Stryker’s mission to improve healthcare.
Prior to her promotion, Amanda served as Director, Employee Relations at Stryker, leading a team responsible for conducting HR/EEO investigations and providing strategic employee relations advice to the Orthopedics & Spine Group. Her leadership in analyzing data trends and supporting a culture of integrity has been pivotal.
Amanda’s HR career at Stryker includes various roles such as Sr. Manager, Employee Relations and Employee Relations Manager, where she managed high-volume HR investigations and partnered with business leaders to address key cultural and organizational trends.
Earlier in her career, Amanda held roles such as Human Resources Manager and Associate Manager Human Resources, providing strategic HR support to global R&D teams and leading international HR initiatives across multiple countries, including Ireland and Germany.
