London, United Kingdom, December 2024 – Avalere Health, a global strategic partner in healthcare, has announced the appointment of Amar Urhekar as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Urhekar, who joined Avalere Health in 2023 as Chief Operations Officer (COO), will now lead the organization’s efforts across its core capabilities: Advisory, Medical, and Marketing.
Urhekar’s tenure as COO focused on unifying the organization and integrating acquired companies into a seamless, global healthcare ecosystem. Under his leadership, Avalere Health has evolved into a partner uniquely positioned to address healthcare’s most complex challenges at scale.

Urhekar succeeds Jon Koch, who has served as CEO for over three years and will remain as a strategic advisor until March 2025.
