Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2025 — Amit Govind has been elevated to the role of Global Head of Marketing – Sustainability Services at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). In this pivotal leadership position, Amit will spearhead global marketing strategies for the sustainability portfolio, bolstering TCS’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) positioning and driving its brand narrative in sustainability-focused markets.
Amit’s journey at TCS spans over seven years, during which he played instrumental roles in shaping the company’s internal and digital communications. As Head of Internal Communication, he led enterprise-wide strategic messaging, while simultaneously crafting the brand’s voice across digital platforms as Head of Social Media, a role he held for over seven years. His efforts significantly elevated TCS’s online visibility and stakeholder engagement.
Before joining TCS full-time, Amit served as Senior Consultant at Germin8 and Growth Advisor at CometChat, providing expertise in content strategy and digital transformation. He also held leadership roles in communication and media relations at Audi India, Perfect Relations (Dentsu Aegis Network), and LTI – Larsen & Toubro Infotech, where he honed his skills in public relations, storytelling, and media engagement.
With a strong academic foundation that includes leadership development at the University of Michigan – Ross School of Business, a Bachelor’s in Mass Media from the University of Mumbai, and an advanced diploma in public relations from Xavier Institute of Communications, Amit is well-positioned to drive TCS’s sustainability marketing agenda with creativity, purpose, and strategic insight.
