Before assuming his current position, Amit Sarna served as the Commercial / Transformation Lead within Vita Health Group for over two years. His responsibilities included engaging with key partners and stakeholders, including NHS Integrated Care Systems and commissioners, and supporting the strategic direction of the NHS business growth. Sarna played a pivotal role in the mobilization and engagement of new NHS contracts, contributing significantly to the organization’s service propositions, acquisitions, organic growth, and the enhancement of operational processes.

Amit Sarna’s professional journey is marked by an extensive 15-year tenure with the NHS, where he demonstrated exceptional skill as an Advanced Physiotherapist Practitioner. In this capacity, he specialized in assessing patients with complex spinal and musculoskeletal conditions and played a key role in service transformation and patient care initiatives across the regional network. His deep understanding of healthcare operations and patient care is further evidenced by his role as an Operational Team Leader for the NHS Physiotherapy department, where he led significant service improvements and staff development programs.

In his new role at Vita Health Group, Sarna is responsible for building and managing relationships with external stakeholders and key partners across NHS and corporate services. Working closely with the Director of Performance, Planning & Insight, he aims to embed the voice of patients, public, and practitioners, ensuring their active involvement in health data science. Sarna’s leadership is expected to advance Vita Health Group’s approach to public and community engagement, service proposition development, and business change management in alignment with strategic objectives.

Amit Sarna’s appointment as Head of Public Engagement & Partnerships underscores Vita Health Group’s commitment to enhancing its partnerships and public engagement strategies. His expertise in healthcare, combined with his proven track record of fostering significant partnerships and leading transformational initiatives, positions him as a key asset in driving the organization’s mission forward.
