Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, May 2025 – Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) has announced the appointment of Amrendra Kumar Sinha as Chief Audit Executive. In this role, he will be responsible for strengthening governance, internal control systems, and audit functions across one of India’s largest integrated ports and logistics platforms.
Prior to his current role at APSEZ, Amrendra Kumar Sinha held the position of Chief Audit Executive at Adani Airport Holdings Ltd, where he led the audit function for over eight years. His contributions played a key role in enhancing governance frameworks across airport operations under the Adani Group umbrella.
He also served as Chief Audit Executive at Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) for nearly seven years, ensuring robust risk management and compliance mechanisms across the renewable energy vertical. In parallel, he led audit responsibilities at Adani Capital and Adani New Industry Limited, where he supported financial oversight and internal audits during periods of rapid organizational growth.
Before joining the Adani Group, he served as Chief Audit Executive at Fiat India Automobiles Pvt. Ltd., and previously spent over nine years at Tata Motors, where he headed the internal audit function. His tenure included a key assignment at Tata Technologies, where he led audit transformation initiatives across global operations.
Amrendra began his career with Tata Steel, where he spent more than seven years overseeing finance and accounts. His broad industry experience spans automotive, infrastructure, renewable energy, and industrial services, bringing a deep understanding of governance in both Indian and multinational contexts.
