Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area, United States – November 2024 – Post Consumer Brands has announced the appointment of Amy Buerke as its new Vice President of Human Resources – Manufacturing. In this role, Amy will oversee HR initiatives within the company’s manufacturing sector, focusing on workforce engagement, operational excellence, and leadership development. With extensive experience in global HR strategy and operations, Amy brings a wealth of expertise that aligns with Post Consumer Brands’ commitment to innovation and excellence in the consumer goods sector.
Amy joins Post Consumer Brands from AkzoNobel, where she served as Global HR Director, Talent, Performance & Rewards. In this role, she led HR initiatives across centers of excellence, implementing strategic programs for employee engagement and organizational development. Previously, as Global Talent and Organization Effectiveness Director, Amy spearheaded leadership development and strategic thinking initiatives across the company’s global divisions.
Before her tenure at AkzoNobel, Amy held a pivotal role at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as Global HR Leader for AWS Training and Certification, where she was instrumental in enhancing talent development and HR strategies in alignment with AWS’s global growth initiatives. Her strategic approach to HR played a key role in advancing workforce skills and optimizing HR operations within the tech industry.
Earlier in her career, Amy worked with Nouryon as Global HR Director for Performance Formulations and Global HR Director for Surface Chemistry and Organization Development. During her time there, she excelled in leadership development and organizational strategy, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and strategic alignment across teams. Her foundational experience includes various roles at Cargill and Ameriprise Financial Services, where she honed her skills in HR business partnering and talent management.
