Charlotte, North Carolina, United States, June 2025 – Amy English has been appointed as Vice President, Executive Recruiting at Truist, one of the top 10 commercial banks in the United States. In her new role, Amy will lead executive talent acquisition strategies, bringing in senior leadership across Truist’s high-growth markets and business lines.
Amy joins Truist after an impressive 10+ year tenure at Lincoln Financial Group, where she held multiple leadership roles in talent acquisition. Most recently, she served as Vice President, Talent Acquisition for IT, Corporate, Executive, and Actuarial functions, overseeing enterprise-wide recruitment strategy and leading cross-functional hiring initiatives that supported strategic transformation and growth.
Prior to this, Amy led as AVP, Corporate, IT, Actuarial, and Executive Recruiting, and earlier as Recruiting Lead, Enterprise Wide, building diverse leadership pipelines and scaling recruitment capabilities. Her strong command over recruiting strategy, coupled with a deep understanding of niche talent markets, made her a valued leader across Lincoln Financial.
Earlier in her career, Amy spent over six years with Towers Watson (now WTW), where she worked as an Executive Recruiter and Sourcing Specialist, focusing on high-impact talent across consulting, actuarial science, and benefits management roles. Her ability to create robust talent pipelines and partner with business leaders across regions was instrumental in driving organizational growth.
Amy’s professional journey began in recruiting with Towers Perrin, where she handled remote sourcing and specialized recruitment projects across financial services and HR consulting. Her expertise in using advanced sourcing techniques and candidate engagement strategies established her as a go-to expert for executive and specialty hiring.
