Columbus, Ohio, United States, September 2024 – Amy Jo Donohew has taken on the role of Chief Human Resources Officer, Senior Vice President (SVP) at Designer Brands, where she will oversee HR strategy, talent development, and organizational transformation to drive the company’s success in the footwear and accessories industry.
Before joining Designer Brands, Amy served as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at DSW for over 3 years. In this role, she led HR operations and strategic initiatives to support the company’s large retail footprint and workforce.
Prior to becoming SVP, Amy held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at DSW, where she was responsible for implementing HR policies, driving employee engagement, and overseeing talent management for over 2 years.
Amy has also held several key roles at DSW Inc., including Sr. Director of Human Resources and Director of Human Resources, where she developed HR strategies and supported leadership teams in aligning HR practices with business goals for more than 12 years.
Before her tenure at DSW, Amy worked at Tween Brands (Justice) as an HR Manager for nearly 7 years, where she gained experience in HR management and employee relations.
