Stockholm, Sweden, August 2025 – Hygiene and health company Essity has announced the appointment of Anand Chandarana as President of Business Unit Health & Medical, effective September 1, 2025. He will also join the company’s Executive Management Team in his new role.
Chandarana has been with Essity and its Health & Medical business unit since 2020, most recently serving as Vice President Commercial Development. He brings more than two decades of experience in the medical solutions industry, having spent 17 years in various senior roles at Mölnlycke Health Care.

In his new role, Chandarana will report directly to Ulrika Kolsrud and will be based in Gothenburg. A dual citizen of the UK and Sweden, he will be responsible for driving the business unit’s strategic growth and operational excellence.
