San Francisco, California, United States, December, 2024 – Celesta Capital, a prominent global deep tech venture capital firm, has announced the appointment of Anand Chandrasekaran as Managing Partner. A seasoned technology investor and product leader with over 20 years of experience, Chandrasekaran brings a wealth of expertise in identifying transformative startups and scaling global businesses.
Chandrasekaran previously served as a Partner at General Catalyst and held leadership roles at Meta, Five9, Bharti Airtel, and Snapdeal, among others. Most recently, he co-founded Crescendo AI, an AI-native contact center startup, where he continues to serve as President while transitioning into his new role at Celesta Capital. Crescendo recently raised $50M in financing and acquired customer experience company PartnerHero.
A prolific seed investor, Chandrasekaran has invested in over 80 startups, seven of which have surpassed valuations of $1 billion. Recognized as India’s top seed investor by HURUN India for three consecutive years, he led investments in groundbreaking companies such as Loop Health, Eeki Foods, Orange Health, and Jeh Aerospace during his tenure at General Catalyst.
