Sundaram Asset Management Company (Sundaram AMC) has welcomed Anand Radhakrishnan as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Radhakrishnan is an esteemed veteran from Franklin Templeton, India, where he served as the chief investment officer. He will succeed Sunil Subramaniam, who is due for retirement in June 2024.
Anand Radhakrishnan brings a wealth of over 30 years of experience in the industry to his new position. He was previously associated with Franklin Templeton India, where he was Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager for approximately two decades. Before this tenure, Radhakrishnan spent more than eight years at Sundaram AMC as a Fund Manager, after starting his career at SBI Funds Management Ltd as a Deputy Manager.
Radhakrishnan earned a Bachelor of Technology degree from Anna University and a postgraduate diploma in management from IIM Ahmedabad. He has also achieved the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
