London, England, United Kingdom, January 2025 – Andrea Berlin has joined Advent as the Vice President Talent, Portfolio Support Group. In this key leadership role, Andrea will leverage her extensive expertise in talent management, executive assessment, and strategic advisory to drive impactful support for Advent’s portfolio companies.
Andrea brings a wealth of experience in leadership and talent strategy. Prior to joining Advent, she spent nearly six years at Egon Zehnder as a Leadership & Talent Advisor, where she specialized in executive and board-level hiring, as well as assessment and development advisory within health, technology, and HR leader practices.
Andrea also held pivotal roles at McKinsey & Company during her nearly six-year tenure. As the Head of People and Operations, McKinsey Transformation (MT), EMEA Region, she led transformation initiatives and talent operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Earlier at McKinsey, Andrea served as an Associate and Senior Business Analyst, where she honed her skills in strategic problem-solving and operational excellence.
Additionally, Andrea contributed to service transformation initiatives at the NHS Tower Hamlets as a Team Leader, where she focused on improving healthcare delivery in East London.
Andrea holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, where she actively participated in the Healthcare Club, and an MSc in Healthcare Commissioning from the University of Birmingham.
