Houston, Texas, United States, February 2026 – Andréa Ehlers has started a new position as Director Human Resources Operations at Goodwill Houston, bringing extensive expertise in HR technology, people operations, and large-scale workforce transformation.
In her new role, Andréa will provide strategic leadership for core HR functions, ensuring alignment with organizational vision and values. She will lead the HR team in fostering a collaborative environment that enhances employee engagement and support, evaluate and improve HR systems for efficiency and data integrity, and develop dashboards with metrics illustrating the impact of HR contributions to bottom-line success.
Prior to joining Goodwill Houston, Andréa served as Vice President, People Solutions at Cart.com, where she led HR strategy, talent development, payroll, benefits, and compliance in a high-growth startup environment. She previously held senior HR technology leadership roles at Service Corporation International, Tokio Marine HCC, and Houston ISD, where she led major HRIS transformations including Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP HCM, and SuccessFactors implementations supporting workforces of up to 30,000+ employees.
Her career reflects a consistent focus on operational excellence, HR systems innovation, compliance rigor, and leadership development across complex and multi-state organizations. Andréa is also a Founding Member of the AI for HR Community, contributing to practical AI applications for HR professionals globally.
