Andreea Picu Appointed as People and Culture Global Director at Thinkproject

Munich, Germany, December 2025 – Andreea Picu has been appointed as People and Culture Global Director at Thinkproject, a leading built asset lifecycle platform. In her new role, she will be responsible for shaping and executing the global people strategy, strengthening the cultural backbone, and driving transformation across HR operations at Thinkproject as it scales internationally.

Before joining Thinkproject, Andreea Picu led global People Services at UiPath as Senior Director, where she delivered over 60 automation workflows, restructured global vendor ecosystems, and operationalized service delivery models across 40+ countries. She also played a vital role in digital transformation, global mobility, and governance readiness while integrating Workday and automation platforms.

Prior to that, she served as Director, People Operations at UiPath, contributing to rapid global expansion by standardizing people operations across 30+ geographies during hypergrowth. At Oracle, she held the role of Senior Manager, Global HR Services, where she managed cross-regional HR operations, vendor performance, and global background verification processes, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency across EMEA, AMER, and APAC.

Her earlier career at Genpact spanned nearly a decade, where she advanced from Operations Manager to Sr. Operations Manager & Transformation Lead, driving P&L transformation, Lean Six Sigma adoption, and M&A integrations across Europe. Her foundational years were spent at Vodafone and Frank Seta & Associates, where she led major account management and client operations.

Matthew Breitfelder is Partner and Global Head of Human Capital at Apollo, where he focuses on attracting extraordinary talent to the firm and creating an innovative, inclusive, high-performance culture that brings out the best in Apollo’s people. Matt leads Apollo’s recruiting, talent management, compensation, succession planning, citizenship, employee relations, development, and culture work. He is also a member of the firm’s Leadership Team. Matt is committed to expanding opportunities across Apollo’s workplace, marketplace, and communities. Prior to joining Apollo, Matt was Chief Talent Officer at BlackRock as well as a member of the Operating Committee. Previously, he held strategy, talent, and innovation roles at Mastercard, PwC, and CEB/Gartner.

Matt holds a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the boards of the Lumina Foundation, the Aspen Institute’s Business and Society program, the Milken Institute’s Inclusive Capitalism initiative, and Georgetown University’s initiative on AI, Analytics, and the Future of Work. He is the co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and articles on leadership. Matt has been recognized as a Top Global CHRO multiple times by n2Growth and Stanford Business School.
