Keene, New Hampshire, United States, December 2025 — Andrew Connell has taken on an expanded leadership role as Executive Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer at C&S Wholesale Grocers, where he will lead enterprise-wide procurement strategy, supplier partnerships, and end-to-end sourcing optimization across the organization’s national supply chain network.
In his current elevation at C&S Wholesale Grocers, Andrew Connell brings nearly two decades of progressive leadership experience within the organization, having steadily advanced through a wide range of procurement, supply chain, engineering, and optimization roles. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President, Procurement, after leading Center Store Procurement operations for over five years as Senior Vice President, Center Store Procurement. In these roles, he played a central role in strengthening sourcing strategies, supplier networks, and cost optimization frameworks across C&S’s nationwide operations.
Earlier in his journey, Andrew served as Vice President, Procurement and Vice President, End-to-End Supply Chain Optimization, where he drove enterprise-wide transformation programs focused on procurement analytics, distribution efficiency, and supply chain modernization initiatives.
Before entering executive leadership, he held multiple engineering and planning leadership roles including Senior Director, Facilities Planning & Industrial Engineering, Director, Facility Planning & Engineering, and Senior Manager, Facility Planning & Automation, strengthening automation, facility optimization, and industrial engineering practices across distribution centers.
At the start of his career at C&S, Andrew worked as Manager, Procurement Analytics, Research and Development and earlier as a Supply Chain Analyst, developing deep analytical expertise and operational insights that continue to inform his strategic leadership approach today.
