London, United Kingdom, August 2025 — Andy Baldwin has been appointed as the Global Managing Partner – Offerings & Growth at IBM Consulting, marking a significant leadership addition to the technology giant’s consulting arm. In his new role, Baldwin will focus on driving profitable growth by building, deploying, and scaling AI-enabled offerings and solutions that deliver exceptional value to clients worldwide.
With a distinguished career spanning over three decades in consulting and business leadership, Andy joins IBM Consulting after an illustrious 21-year journey at EY, where he most recently served as Global Managing Partner – Client Service. In that role, he was responsible for leading EY’s global client service strategy across three geographic areas and four service lines, impacting a workforce of more than 200,000 professionals.
Earlier at EY, he held the position of EMEIA Area Managing Partner, overseeing operations in over 90 countries and leading 4,000 partners and 100,000 people. Prior to that, he served in several senior roles, contributing to transformative strategic initiatives, sector integration, and future-of-work preparedness across geographies.
Andy’s earlier career includes leadership stints as Head of Insurance Consulting at both IBM and Capgemini, as well as his initial tenure as Partner at EY in the 1990s. An MBA in Finance and Strategy from Cranfield School of Management, he also holds credentials from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Chartered Insurance Institute, and is a graduate of The University of Sheffield.
