Vienna, Austria, January 2025 – Andy Johnstone has joined Mondi Group as the Group Head of Talent Acquisition, bringing extensive expertise in recruitment strategy, leadership, and talent management. In his new role, Andy will oversee talent acquisition initiatives, driving sustainable recruitment practices that align with Mondi Group’s global mission to foster innovation and sustainability in packaging and paper solutions.
Andy most recently served as the Global Head of Talent Acquisition at Signify, where he led strategic recruitment planning and diversity initiatives for nearly two years. His work involved designing employee value propositions and implementing data-driven hiring processes to enhance organizational growth.
Prior to that, Andy held multiple leadership roles at GE Healthcare over four years. As the Director of Talent Acquisition for EMEA, he managed recruitment across 54 countries, spearheading the integration of regional functions and launching new processes, including the adoption of Workday. Additionally, he led the Global Executive Search and Talent Intelligence Team, building a business-aligned executive recruitment model to attract top industry leaders.
Earlier in his career, Andy gained valuable recruitment experience as a Sourcing Advisor at Hunter Adams and as a Team Lead at Carlton Resource Solutions. His journey also includes foundational roles at ManpowerGroup and management positions at organizations such as Aberdeen City Council.
