Angela Burton has spent nearly a decade at Feet to the Fire Writers’ Workshops®, an organization she founded to foster creative expression among aging adults. Under her leadership, the program expanded its reach across multiple U.S. states, bringing therapeutic writing workshops to thousands of seniors in various living communities. Her role expanded into the digital sphere with the launch of the Feet to the Fire Writers’ Workshops® OUTLOUD podcast, which amplifies the voices of older adults through storytelling.
Prior to her tenure at Feet to the Fire, Angela served as a Marketing & Strategic Initiatives Director for Special Olympics Kentucky, where she significantly boosted corporate partnerships and community engagement. Her strategic prowess was further honed at the Center for Nonprofit Excellence in Louisville, where she developed key relationships and led fundraising initiatives that substantially supported the organization’s objectives.
