Montreal, Quebec, Canada, July 2025 — Anil Arora has been appointed as Global Chief Financial Officer at Syntax Systems, a global leader in cloud-managed ERP solutions. In this new role, he will oversee all financial operations, driving strategic growth, operational efficiency, and seamless M&A integration as the company advances its global hybrid and multi-cloud services footprint.
Anil brings over 25 years of financial leadership to Syntax. Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Material, where he led finance for the marketing services company focused on data-driven insights and experience design. Prior to that, he held CFO roles at AppViewX, a provider of machine identity and automation software, and ENTRUST Solutions Group, a consulting and engineering services firm, where he enabled a successful private equity exit.
Anil’s extensive experience at IBM spanned more than 15 years, including leadership positions such as Vice President – Finance & Planning for IBM Global Services, and multiple senior finance roles at IBM Credit Corporation. His work included managing a $100B+ balance sheet, overseeing investor relations, and leading capital structure strategy and treasury operations.
Earlier in his career, Anil worked as a consultant at Kurt Salmon, part of Accenture Strategy, and began his professional journey in manufacturing and quality assurance at Coats in India. Across his global roles, he has built a reputation for leveraging ERP systems and financial analytics to drive performance and transformation.
At Syntax, Anil’s mandate will be to strengthen the global finance function, scale systems and processes, and support the company’s mission-critical enterprise cloud services in collaboration with major technology partners including Oracle, SAP, AWS, and Microsoft.
