United Kingdom, November 2025 — Compass Group UK & Ireland has announced the appointment of Anita B as Head of Talent & Development (Central Functions) and Strategic HR Partner – Digital & Technology, a pivotal leadership role focused on driving capability-building, people development, and workforce transformation across the organisation’s central and digital ecosystems. With deep global HR leadership experience, Anita brings a strategic mindset shaped by two decades of partnering with business leaders across multiple sectors.
Anita steps into this role after serving as Senior HR Partner at Foodbuy Group (Compass Group), where she provided strategic HR leadership for more than a year. Her work focused on strengthening workforce design, enabling leadership effectiveness, and shaping talent strategies that aligned with business priorities across hybrid-working environments.
Her prior experience includes an extensive nine-year career at GSK, where she most recently served as Director, HR Business Leader – R&D, leading the global people strategy for a 4,000+ workforce across 75 markets. In this role, she enhanced leadership capability, accelerated transformation, strengthened talent pipelines, and cultivated a high-integrity culture that advanced global performance. She also served as Senior HR Business Partner – Pharma, Consumer and R&D, and took on an additional mandate as Interim Chief of Staff, demonstrating her agility in supporting complex, fast-evolving business priorities.
Before her senior roles, Anita worked in multiple HR leadership and transformation positions at GSK, including HR Advisor, Human Resources Executive, HR Transformation Project Manager, and Leadership & Organisational Development Associate, gaining rich exposure to organisational design, capability building, and culture development across global teams.
Anita began her HR leadership journey at Unilever, where she served as HR Business Partner – Finance Global Function, supporting financial transformation and organisational effectiveness across large global teams.
