Before joining HDFC Bank, Ankush served at Siemens as Category Lead – Mobility Services, where he managed complex global travel operations and vendor partnerships, driving strategic sourcing, stakeholder engagement, and process automation initiatives. His work at Siemens focused on aligning travel management with business objectives, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and service quality across geographies.

Prior to Siemens, Ankush worked with Cummins India as Regional Travel Manager, where he led business travel operations across multiple regions, implementing systems to improve supplier management, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction. His leadership was pivotal in strengthening Cummins’ travel governance framework and ensuring seamless travel experiences for global employees.

He also spent several years at Ericsson, where he headed the travel function for India, managing a spend exceeding USD 25 million for 10,000 travelers. His strategic contributions included implementing an online booking tool (OBT), negotiating with airlines and hotels, and representing Ericsson in industry forums such as ACTE and GBTA. Earlier in his career, Ankush held key positions at Hrg Sita India (Kuoni Group), Yatra Online Ltd., HCL Technologies, and ebookers, gaining deep expertise in client relations, travel strategy, vendor development, and corporate operations.

At HDFC Bank, Ankush’s appointment underscores the bank’s commitment to optimizing travel management, sustainability, and employee experience within its extensive operational network.
