Dubai, United Arab Emirates, September 2024 — Antranik Agopian has been appointed as the Head of People Services at Alshaya Group. In this role, Antranik will oversee the people services operations across the Group, driving key human resources initiatives, ensuring operational excellence, and continuing to foster an employee-focused culture within the organization.
Antranik’s journey at Alshaya Group spans over 16 years, during which he has held several key positions within the HR function. Most recently, he served as the Head of Human Resources Services, where he played a critical role in streamlining HR operations and enhancing the efficiency of the HR services provided across the organization.
Prior to this, Antranik was the HR Services Manager for over eight years, managing complex HR processes and systems to ensure a smooth and compliant HR operation. He also served as the Government Relations Manager in Doha, Qatar, where he handled key government interactions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and supporting the business’s operational needs.
Antranik began his career at Alshaya as an HRS Officer and quickly advanced to leadership roles, demonstrating his strong expertise in HR services, government relations, and people management. His continuous dedication to the organization has significantly contributed to the success of Alshaya’s HR function across multiple regions.
