Before joining JioStar, Aravamudhan most recently served as Head of Public Policy at Star India Private Limited and Viacom18 Media Private Limited, where he spearheaded government relations, regulatory strategies, and industry-wide policy engagement. Over his 15-year tenure at Star India and Disney Star, he advanced through a series of leadership roles — from Manager (Corporate Communication) and Senior Manager (Regulatory Affairs) to Senior Vice President and Executive Director (Government Relations) — leading numerous high-impact initiatives around regulatory compliance, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communication.
Earlier in his career, Aravamudhan held a key role at ABP Network, where he developed a strong foundation in media management, content governance, and policy advocacy, shaping his comprehensive understanding of India’s broadcasting framework. His professional journey reflects an unwavering commitment to balancing creativity, compliance, and collaboration in a rapidly evolving media ecosystem.
