Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2024 – Arjun Mukherjee has taken on the role of Senior Director-Finance Head of Global SCM | Head of Costing | Finance Head of API Business at Cipla. Bringing extensive experience in financial management, Arjun is set to drive strategic financial initiatives and contribute to Cipla’s ongoing success.
Arjun Mukherjee has been with Cipla for 7 years and 5 months. Prior to his current role, he served as the Director, Head of FP&A and Finance Controller-IB, CFO of Cipla Digital Health, where he led the financial planning and analysis function for a substantial business portfolio. He played a key role in raising significant funding and driving various automation and digitalization initiatives within the finance domain.
Before this, Arjun held the position of Director & Business Finance Head- Respiratory Business, where he managed a major revenue-generating cluster and partnered with marketing teams for successful campaigns. He also served as the Director- Business Finance Head- Acute Business, leading finance for a significant business unit and improving profit margins through various strategic initiatives.
Arjun’s earlier roles at Cipla include Director-Global FP&A Head and Associate Director Corporate Finance, where he was instrumental in strategic planning, M&A activities, and financial performance reviews. He also worked with GENPACT as a Senior Manager – FP&A and Manager Corporate Finance, handling complex pricing, forecasting, and financial modeling for F&A consulting business.
His journey also includes experience at Bank of America as an Assistant Manager- Corporate Finance and FP&A and at Siemens as an Executive – Finance & Business Administration, where he managed P&L planning, project costing, and commercial aspects of assigned projects.
