United States, June 2025 – Armando Leal has taken on the role of Head of Talent and Employee Experience at Amadeus, where he leads a high-impact team focused on Talent Management, Culture, Learning & Development, and Employee Engagement throughout North and South America. In this capacity, Armando is driving people strategies that enhance the employee journey and foster a culture of innovation and inclusion across the region.

Before joining Amadeus, Armando was Director, Talent Management at Health Care Service Corporation (Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas). Over three years, he led enterprise-wide talent development, succession planning, internal mobility, leadership growth, and retention strategies for a workforce of more than 36,000 employees. Working closely with C-suite and senior leaders, he was instrumental in designing and implementing solutions that advanced business outcomes and organizational capability.

Previously, Armando spent a decade with Zachry Corporation, where he played a pivotal role in shaping talent, culture, and organizational development. As Director – Talent, Culture & Organization Development, he enhanced leadership and staff performance, managed talent management programs, and created high-impact learning solutions. In his dual role as Director – Talent Acquisition, he led national recruitment strategies, centralized staffing operations, and built diversity, equity, and inclusion programs that strengthened talent pipelines and improved retention across the enterprise.

Earlier in his career, Armando served as Clinical & Operations Manager at Family Service Association of San Antonio, Inc., where he led a team of over 45 employees and drove operational strategies that improved workforce engagement and organizational performance. He successfully delivered business transformation initiatives that optimized productivity and ensured scalable growth for the organization.
