Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, June 2025 – Meta has announced the appointment of Arun Srinivas as Managing Director and Head for Meta in India, effective July 1, 2025. This leadership move follows Sandhya Devanathan’s transition into an expanded role leading both India and South East Asia for Meta.
In his new position, Srinivas will drive the company’s business, innovation, and revenue priorities in India, while furthering Meta’s long-term strategic commitment to the country. He will be responsible for strengthening Meta’s relationships with India’s largest advertisers, brands, developers, and partners, ensuring business growth across the region. He will continue to report to Sandhya Devanathan, Vice President, India and South East Asia.
With nearly three decades of experience across prominent organizations such as Hindustan Unilever, Reebok, OLA, and WestBridge Capital, Srinivas brings a deep understanding of business development, strategic marketing, and leadership. A post-graduate from IIM Kolkata, he joined Meta in 2020 and has since served as Director and Head of Ads Business in India, where he played a critical role in shaping the company’s partnerships with major advertisers and agencies, with a strong focus on AI, Reels, and Messaging solutions.
“As India continues to be at the forefront of economic growth and innovation, we are excited to have Arun at the helm of our efforts in this critical market. Meta in India is leading the way in AI adoption, WhatsApp, and Reels, and Arun’s impressive track record of building high-performing teams, driving product innovation, and fostering strong partnerships makes him the ideal leader to drive Meta’s continued investment in the country.” said Sandhya Devanathan, Vice President, India and South East Asia at Meta.
