Patiala, Punjab, India, December 2025 – Ashish Dadhwal has taken on a new role as Head – Human Resources & Industrial Relations at Tenneco, assuming responsibility for HR and IR leadership at the company’s powertrain manufacturing operations in India. In this role, he oversees people strategy, employee relations, industrial relations, and workforce governance for the Federal-Mogul Goetze India Limited facility in Patiala, supporting Tenneco’s piston, rings, and pins manufacturing operations.
In the period leading up to this appointment, Ashish Dadhwal served as Lead HR – Manufacturing Excellence at Tenneco, where he was responsible for driving people strategy across six powertrain manufacturing sites in India. Based at the corporate office, he worked closely with business and site leadership to enhance productivity, optimize workforce costs, embed continuous improvement practices, and strengthen organizational effectiveness aligned with the company’s manufacturing excellence agenda.
Earlier, he held the role of Senior Human Resources Manager at Tenneco, leading HR operations for the Parwanoo and Bhiwadi manufacturing locations. His responsibilities spanned manpower planning, industrial relations, long-term settlements, HR analytics, compliance, payroll, and employee engagement, while also contributing to India-wide project management initiatives.
Prior to joining Tenneco, Ashish Dadhwal spent over a decade with International Tractors Limited, where he progressed through multiple leadership roles in talent management and HR operations. During this phase of his career, he led initiatives across talent acquisition, learning and development, organizational development, succession planning, compensation and benefits, and employee relations, supporting large manufacturing workforces and complex plant operations.
