Amsterdam, Netherlands, September 2025 — CTS Group has announced the appointment of Atul Sharma as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this role, Atul joins the Group Executive Leadership Team and will be responsible for leading the global people strategy across a diverse and complex organization spanning four continents. His mandate covers talent acquisition, organizational development, compensation and benefits, compliance, diversity and inclusion, and cultural transformation to support the Group’s next phase of growth.
Atul brings with him over two decades of international HR leadership experience. Most recently, he served as Chief Human Resources Officer at EthosEnergy, where he successfully led large-scale cultural and people transformation programs, positioning the company as a global employer of choice. His work focused on aligning organizational design, talent management, change initiatives, and inclusion to long-term business strategy.
Prior to this, Atul held several senior leadership roles with Monsanto Company. As Vice President Human Resources for Asia and Africa, he managed HR strategy across 21 countries, driving transformation in marketing, sales, digital, and supply chain functions. Earlier, as Vice President Human Resources – International Business, he revitalized HR across South America, Canada, EMEA, India, and Asia-Pacific, supporting $5 billion in net sales and enabling successful joint ventures and divestitures. He also led the HR function in India, focusing on talent pipeline development and organizational capability building.
Earlier in his career, Atul was Vice President – Human Capital Management at Goldman Sachs, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the firm’s India presence and HR shared services. He also served as Director of Human Resources at Pru Life UK, Assistant Vice President at GE Capital, and spent over seven years with Hindustan Unilever Ltd in multiple HR leadership roles across talent management, employee relations, and business partnering. He began his career in academics as a faculty member at the Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur.
Atul’s career reflects a proven track record in global HR leadership, organizational transformation, and cultural integration across industries including energy, agriculture, financial services, consumer goods, and manufacturing. His expertise positions him well to strengthen CTS Group’s people and culture strategy as the company continues its leadership in sustainable data center solutions.
