Istanbul, Turkey, January 2026 — Aybars Aksoy has taken on a new role as Chief Financial Officer – Eurasia Cluster at Royal Canin. In this position, he will lead the finance agenda across the Eurasia cluster, supporting strategic growth, financial governance, and business performance across markets within the region.
In his new role at Royal Canin, Aybars Aksoy will work closely with regional and global leadership teams to strengthen financial planning, decision support, and long-term value creation aligned with the company’s purpose of advancing pet health through nutrition.
Prior to joining Royal Canin, Aybars Aksoy was serving as Strategic Finance Group Director at Hepsiburada (NASDAQ: HEPS), where he played a key role in group-level finance strategy, performance management, and strategic decision-making for one of Türkiye’s leading e-commerce platforms.
Before this, he spent over three years with Getir, where he held multiple senior finance leadership roles, including Vice President Finance – Europe, Finance Director – Turkey, and Head of FP&A. During this period, he supported rapid international expansion, strengthened financial controls, and led planning and analytics across high-growth markets.
Earlier in his career, Aybars Aksoy worked with The Coca-Cola Company as Commercial Finance Senior Manager, contributing to commercial finance strategy and business partnering. He also spent more than six years at Philip Morris International, holding roles across financial planning, business development, and regional duty-free operations in the Eurasia region.
His earlier professional journey includes roles at Avon, The Nielsen Company, and IC İbrahim Çeçen Investment Holding, where he built a strong foundation in analytics, sales finance, modelling, and treasury operations, shaping a career that spans over 15 years across FMCG, e-commerce, retail, and analytics-driven environments.
