Beirut, Lebanon, January 2026 — Gray Mackenzie Retail Lebanon (GMRL) has appointed Bahij Haloumi as Chief Growth Officer, strengthening its executive leadership as the retail group accelerates regional expansion and growth-led transformation across its diversified retail, distribution and F&B portfolio.
In his new role, Bahij Haloumi will lead enterprise-wide growth strategy, business expansion, portfolio optimisation, partnerships and performance acceleration initiatives across GMRL’s supermarket, hypermarket, F&B and production businesses.
Prior to joining GMRL, Bahij served for over four years as Chief Growth Officer at kaykroo, where he led growth management, financial analysis, M&A-driven expansion and business development initiatives across the UAE market.
He is also a Co-Founder and Entrepreneur at NOOZ CBC and ElEstez Snack, where he has been actively involved in building F&B brands and scaling consumer businesses across the GCC region.
Earlier, he spent nearly five years as Director of Operations at Ayam Elezz Restaurants (Gourmet Vest Capital), where he drove multi-year business planning, SOP standardisation, sales growth, menu innovation, marketing strategy and P&L optimisation across F&B operations in Dubai.
Bahij also led turnaround and revival initiatives as Director of Operations at Subway Lebanon, restructuring operations, renegotiating commercial contracts, strengthening digital marketing strategy and improving outlet profitability during a critical market phase.
He previously served for over a decade as Managing Director at Focus Advertising Dubai, where he scaled revenues, built digital marketing capabilities, led high-impact campaigns for marquee brands and managed agency-wide growth, financial governance and talent development. Earlier in his career, he held marketing and client leadership roles at Sony Ericsson MENA and IMPACT BBDO.
